Visit the New-Look NFG.org
The NGF launched this new e-magazine you’re reading – The Q – back in January as part of its effort to better serve anyone interested in the business of golf. Now, the National Golf Foundation has rolled out its new primary home on the web: www.NGF.org.
In addition to the website receiving a much-needed face lift, new functionality and navigation help enhance the user experience and make it easier to find valuable information or learn more about membership opportunities.
Among the new features on the site is a convenient Golf Industry Facts page with top-line industry data on participation, rounds-played and course supply. Want to know more about the trends impacting golf businesses, how many golfers there are in the U.S. or what the game’s total reach is? As the industry’s leading independent and objective information resource, NGF.org has you covered.
The new site is also home to NGF reports and publications that provide the industry with information and intel to make better-informed decisions. Previously unreleased publications in the Reports & Publications section include NGF’s 2018 State of the Industry and Future of Off-Course Participation. NGF members will also have free access to the Golf Industry Report and new research reports covering topics such as golf media, travel and technology.
Want to find a golf course or business? Search our comprehensive directories. Since 1936, the NGF has kept tabs on every golf course in the U.S., tracking which are open, which closed and following any new projects in development.
If you’re looking to find out more about the NGF’s history, you can read through a timeline that details how the organization has continually evolved to provide resources and guidance that foster the growth and vitality of the golf business. There are also sections highlighting the NGF’s diverse Board of Directors, which is comprised of leaders from across virtually all sectors of the industry, as well as the NGF’s staff, which includes the world’s largest full-time research team dedicated to the business of golf.
Additionally, NGF.org provides more information about NGF’s specialized resources, such as custom research and email marketing, that can help golf businesses compete more effectively.
Lastly, if you’re interested in joining the NGF’s community of like-minded individuals seeking to influence golf’s long-term success, click here for membership information. Memberships underwrite the many research projects and publications that NGF produces on behalf of the industry.
