U.S. Top-10 Golf Supply by State
Ten states have more than 500 golf courses, a threshold that only that only nine countries outside the U.S. can claim. It makes sense that California and Florida lead the nation in golf supply -- California is the most populous state by a significant margin while Florida is the East Coast’s sunshine escape for vacationers, retirees and second-home owners, with the most miles of coastline in the continental U.S. And both have (mostly) year-round golf weather.
