NGF has maintained a database of every golf course in the US since 1936. Today we maintain a worldwide database of over 33,000 golf courses, as well as golf ranges, golf stores and all types of golf businesses. For Donna, as Database Manager, it’s all about the details and keeping the databases up-to-date as well as adding new golf facilities as they open and golf businesses as they are discovered. The database staff spends their days reaching out to golf courses through email and phone calls, continuously updating the NGF CRM system. Every golf course in the US receives an email and/or a phone call from us annually. Internationally it’s a little more complicated, but we manage it through email, satellite imagery and some help from our international friends and associations.
