Pandemic Impact on Golf Facility Staffing
The coronavirus pandemic had a significant impact golf facilities nationwide from an operational standpoint. NGF's facility health study found that private facilities reported a staffing reduction twice as frequently as public golf venues, a quarter of which noted they at least lost some part-time workers. It's important to note that staffing demands are much higher at private golf facilities. On average, private clubs have 35 full-time employees and 40 part-time employees while public facilities average seven full-time employees and 20 part-time staff.
