On-Course Participation by Play Frequency
While play levels have increased in recent years, the number of "avid" golfers -- those who play 25-or-more rounds annually -- has dipped. This change, and the corresponding rise in another avidity group, "Moderates," indicates that some of these avids have likely reclassified. Meanwhile, the number of golfers who play occasionally continues to increase meaningfully.
