Mini Golf or Putt-Putt?
Is it soda or pop? A sub or a hoagie (or even a grinder)? Sprinkles or jimmies? A couch or a sofa? It depends on where you live. There's also been a debate through the years when it comes to miniature golf. Or, in some corners: Putt-Putt. As the related graphic indicates, 12 to 15 years ago there were plenty of states where Putt Putt was indeed the preferred term. Today, only a few states (namely Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Nebraska) generally don't go by the more recognizable nomenclature: mini golf.
