Michigan Golf Supply Snapshot
The PGA TOUR’s 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic was held at one of the nation’s most golf-rich states: Michigan, which is home to 867 golf courses at 711 facilities.
Michigan ranks third nationally in the total number of courses, behind only Florida and California, but no other state has more public supply. A whopping 86% of Michigan’s courses are public: 744 in total, including 654 daily fee (the most nationwide) and 90 municipal. Another 123 courses are at the state’s private clubs.
