Golf’s Total Reach in the U.S.
Golf's total reach has seen a notable increase in recent years -- up 14% compared to pre-pandemic (2019) levels. While participation is up, this is primarily a reflection of the increase in the number of people who engage with the game in different ways, whether it's watching on TV, streaming golf-related content, reading about the game, or following on social media. Perceptions of, and the narrative around, golf have contined to improve, while social media buzz and the highly-visible duel between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf have also contributed to raised awareness of the game.
