Female Golfers by Age
Did you know that almost half of female, on-course golfers are under the age of 35? There are more women between the ages of 18-34 playing traditional, green-grass golf -- 1.6 million -- than any other age category. In addition, there are about 1.3 million girls under the age of 18 playing on course. The second biggest participant age group among females is 50-64, with approximately 1.4 million golfers, empty-nesters and early retirees among them.
