Female Golf Participation: 10-Year Trend
There has been a net increase of 1.4 million women and girls playing on-course golf since 2019, a 25% increase during the "pandemic era." There were 7 million female on-course participants in 2023 for the first time since 2006 -- prior to the Great Recession. Female off-course participation also topped 7 million in 2023 and now for two straight years has surpassed the number of traditional, green grass participants.
