There's an undeniable relationship between the growth in the interest in playing green grass golf on a course and the growth in the number of Topgolf entertainment venues in the U.S. As golf entertainment locations have proliferated, the number of Americans who are "very interested" in taking up (or returning to) the traditional game has increased more than 40% over the past five years. And it's up 180% since 2011, when NGF first began tracking the latent demand measure.
