Online searches for golf balls (the game's ultimate consumable) serve as a signal for rounds activity and overall demand, and suggest that demand nationwide remains – as expected – quite a bit above 2019 levels. But as we enter June, and approach what is historically a peak point for demand (leading up to the the men's U.S. Open and Father's Day), the comparison to 2020 becomes more important and telling, as this was the point last year when virtually all courses nationwide had become operational again.
