Playing the Right Tees
Approximately one-third of Core golfers (8+ rounds annually) are currently playing from tees that are too long for their ability, according to recent NGF surveys. This research also reveals a major disconnect between knowledge and behavior, as many golfers recognize they should be playing a shorter distance, but aren’t. Only 30% of Core golfers said they actually moved up in the past 5 to 10 years, with most of those being over the age of 50.
