From the “Nuts” to the “Nots”… This report looks at golfers based on their commitment to the game, rather than their frequency of play. The report describes different levels of commitment and how each segment engages with the game. Commitment seems to come from the heart, more than the wallet and once a golfer is committed, the traditional obstacles to playing (time, money, and difficulty) become less of a barrier. Committed golfers prioritize golf in their lives and this research delves into how to develop more committed golfers.
