The median weekend, peak season green fee, with cart, for a public course in the U.S. is almost $50. But most golfers don't pay that price. When adjusted for discounts such as weekday rates, junior and senior discounts, walking, time of day, etc., the average 18-hole price paid for a public cart in the U.S. (including a cart) is $36. Excluding resorts from the equation, the average public fee drops closer to $32.
