The accompanying graphic is a trend of cumulative rounds played in the U.S. in 2024 (blue line) in comparison to other recent years and the three-year, pre-pandemic average. Through the first quarter of 2024, the blue line at the bottom left remains relatively low due to the lower volume of total rounds early in the season but is now tracking ahead of the others after a strong March.
