U.S. Golf Course Supply by Type
Almost three-quarters of U.S. golf courses are open to public play in some fashion. At the start of 2024, there were 11,596 public courses -- 8,657 daily fee and 2,939 municipal. There were also 4,367 private courses across the country, accounting for just under 30% of supply.
