Golf Participation (Total) vs Other Popular U.S. Sports
Golf participation -- when taking in green-grass and grassless forms of the game -- dwarfs that of other popular U.S. participation sports. Pickleball is often cited as the "fastest-growing sport in the U.S.," but it's golf that's the largest-growing from a volume standpoint. Since 2014, there's been a net golfer gain of about 15 million, from 30.1 million to 45 million.
