Simulator Golf: What Does Play Look Like?
The over 6 million simulator golf participants have an average of nine play days or play occasions over the course of the year. Just over one-half of golf simulator participants have between one and three usage occasions, likely reflective of those who get a one-time club fitting, have their swing analyzed, or occasionally visit a commercial location. Those with a higher usage (4+ annual occasions) include the more avid participants, those who use simulators for practice, indoor leagues, regular swing and equipment testing, and either visit commercial sim locations with greater frequency or have one in their home or a friend's residence.
