The Growth of Off-Course Golf Supply
The growth of off-course golf businesses has been prolific and they continue to spread across the U.S. In 2006, there were only three golf entertainment venues, but that number has grown exponentially today. While NGF wasn't actively tracking golf simulator businesses back in 2006, the supply was likely sparse. And today, there are more than 500 businesses with simulators nationwide, from commercial locations and club-fitters to retail stores, hotels, casinos, stadiums, malls, and more. The count in the below graphic also excludes Toptracer range locations as well as the burgeoning number of home simulator setups.
