U.S. Golf Participation Levels
Total U.S. golf participation surpassed 40 million for the first time in 2022, when considering both on- and off-course forms of the game. While on-course participation has increased for five straight years, the rise in off-course forms of engagement has been even more significant. The number of Americans playing off-course forms of the game also eclipsed those who play on a course for the first time in 2022.
