In a number of ways, 2022 was a milestone year for golf. For the first time, the number of Americans who participation in off-course forms of golf surpassed those who play the traditional, green grass game. In addition, the overall participant base eclipsed 40 million for the first time, climbing to 41.1 million when considering those who play both on- and off-course golf.
